About the role
- Supply Chain Planning support to the Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) Program
- Working with senior Supply Chain Planners to define, develop, and execute material procurement strategies based upon program-defined requirements and schedules
- Evaluate Supply Chain planning, progress, or issues utilizing metrics and reporting performance to senior Supply Chain Planners and Supply Chain management staff
- Responsible for assessing supply resources; aggregate and prioritize demand requirements; plan inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products
- Participate in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management
- Support evaluation of Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements to build required inventory levels
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution with 5+ years minimum of related professional experience – OR – a Master’s degree with 3+ years of related professional experience
- Previous Supply Chain experience in an aerospace and/or defense industry
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution with 8+ years minimum of related professional experience – OR – a Master’s degree with 6+ years of related professional experience
- Previous Supply Chain experience in an aerospace and/or defense industry
- Experience with Costpoint or similar Enterprise Resource Planning system
- In-depth knowledge to use of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required
