About the role
- Perform formal and informal testing on IBCS Product Line subassemblies and major end items
- Conduct a combination of manual and automated tests
- Accurately troubleshoot test anomalies and report findings clearly
- Brief the customer on anomalies found throughout production
- Develop and maintain test documentation (checklists, procedures, Test Readiness Reviews)
- Assist in developing and maintaining configurations on Cisco and other COTS network equipment and radio hardware
- Work with multidisciplinary team to develop and improve automated test tools
- Support IBCS and other manufacturing efforts at EPIC, as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years (or Master's with 3+ years) in systems and test engineering or 9 years with a high school diploma of experience in test engineering
- Active Secret security clearance
- Current Security+ certification
- Proficient with Cisco network configuration and administration, as well as RHEL systems
- Skilled in writing technical documents such as test plans, procedures, and reports
- Familiarity reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Strong hardware and network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical details to internal and external customers
- Adaptable to high-pressure, dynamic environments
- Able to lift at least 30 lbs
