About the role

  • Work in partnership with the Segments, Program Management Team and Program Leadership to define and enable execution of the Software statement of work in alignment with the customer SOW
  • Responsible for leading the team consisting of platform engineering, technical project engineering, Agile subject matter expertise, test automation and simulations, and cutting-edge enabling technologies (AI/ML, Data Science, DevOps)
  • Lead and direct software working groups charter with internal and customer stakeholders
  • Establish Software Community of Practice (COP) leveraging the best-in-class industry knowledgebase
  • Key member of the program leadership team to help create the alignment with the division software strategy
  • Responsible for oversight of the end-to-end software development
  • Maintain open communications with all Enterprise functions including Engineering, Quality, GSC, Logistics, Engineering Services and Segments
  • Development and execution of long-range plans and strategies while providing the most effective resources by skillsets to the program
  • Experience working with Digital Environments integrating and reporting across the program
  • Outline specific objectives and processes that are focused on generating innovative solutions to moderately complex business problems
  • The candidate will need to demonstrate exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, have the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with varying levels of Customer, NGC, and Supplier employees and leadership
  • Hire and develop the diverse skilled employees, establish the mentorship and coaching culture including growing and strengthening the leadership bench

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and a minimum 10 years of related experience or Masters Degree and 8 years of related experience
  • Experience in a formal management/lead position
  • 3+ years experience with:
  • Management experience leading a technical and complex program effort.
  • Experience developing and administering budgets and standards of performance
  • Experience in developing and implementing technologies associated with production processes with efficient and sustainable implementation
  • U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance with investigation date/periodic review within last 5 years and ability to obtain program special access
