About the role
- Designing, developing, and deploying ServiceNow solutions in support of enterprise initiatives.
- Modifying, maintaining, and modernizing existing solutions.
- Mentoring, training, and demonstrating to other professionals, as required.
- Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize efforts to ensure continuous value to the business.
- Use of various communication channels and software to interact with virtual customers and development teams.
- Creating technical documentation of software changes.
- The selected candidate may be required to travel 1-2 times per year for training and/or team meetings.
Requirements
- Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience; or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience
- Must have a current DoD Top Secret/SCI level security clearance
- A minimum of 1 year of development experience with ServiceNow
- Competence as a developer utilizing ServiceNow’s App Engine to create applications and digital workflows
- Ability to research new technologies for solution creation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills and an ability to juggle multiple assignments and manage changing priorities
- Great attention to detail and strong conceptual, analytical, and planning skills
- Capable of working independently as well as in team and cross-team environments
- Ability to travel, on occasion, to support different locations
- Demonstrated experience in and adherence to Agile methodologies.
- Experience with defining user stories and ensuring stories comply with the SAFe Agile definition of done.
- Experience in release, unit, and user acceptance testing.
