Lead a team of 10-15 technical staff in a management role
Administrative management responsibilities include staffing, performance and compensation management, and career development
Execute < 80% of time in a direct contributor or technical leadership role supporting MDA programs
Responsible for labor and material execution through cost account management (CAM) assignments when applicable
Partner with program management to track execution and provide technical leadership to the team
Ensure proper engineering processes and procedures are followed
Work with peers and training leads to identify critical skill shortfalls; develop appropriate technical training; and improve team performance
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or something closely related
7+ years’ relevant experience (or Master of Science degree with 4 years of relevant experience; PhD with 2 years of relevant experience) within a related engineering field
Proven skills in tackling/solving complex problems in the context of Electrical Theory/Physics
Ability to learn new topics quickly in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including managers, designers, scientists, and other engineers
Strong leadership qualities, including excellent communication and collaboration, team engagement, and organizational skills
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. Citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance per customers’ requirements.
