About the role
- support the Sentinel Program's Command and Control (C2) Hardware Engineering team
- join a team of Hardware, Electrical, and Mechanical engineers to design hardware systems and components
- apply ASME standard processes and procedures to identify, design, and procure electrical and mechanical hardware
- derive requirements from parent specifications, compliance documents, and architecture diagrams in order to identify candidate hardware
- perform trade studies, Analysis of Alternatives, and create design artifacts which will be documented and released using Product Lifecycle Management tools and technologies
- operate in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment consisting of Systems, Software, Design, Compliance, and Hardware engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in STEM and 5 years of related experience or a Master of Science with 3 years of related experience
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application
- Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Electronic Systems
- Experience reading engineering drawings and specification sheets
- Experience analyzing requirements and interface documentation
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- Experience resolving issues and providing technical support
- Capable of working with minimal direction and in team environments.
