Perform as a Windows/VMware systems administrator for a classified government contract
Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers
Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve system performance and reliability
Provide backup and recovery services, manage file systems and disk space
Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists
Interact, meet, communicate, and troubleshoot issues with vendors and evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions
Prepare security documentation for input to Computer Security
Requirements
Active DoD Top Secret level security clearance (at a minimum)
Associate's degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and 0 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree
Current Security+CE certification, or the ability to obtain the required certification within 6 months of hire date
Experience managing Windows Server OS and domain architecture
Ability to support multiple networks
Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed
