About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Transform complex business data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making across the Credit Union.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop enterprise reporting solutions and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations to improve operational performance and enhance the member experience.
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Tableau dashboards, executive scorecards, and performance indicator (KPI) reporting.
  • Analyze large volumes of financial, operational, lending, and member data to identify trends and actionable business insights.
  • Present analytical findings through professional visualizations and executive-level presentations that facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Promote best practices related to data quality, reporting standards, and documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Eight (8) or more years of progressively responsible experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Advanced experience developing complex SQL solutions, including query optimization, stored procedures, complex joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), window functions, and performance tuning.
  • Extensive experience designing and developing Tableau dashboards utilizing Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server or Cloud, Tableau Prep, calculated fields, Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, and dashboard performance optimization.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, operational reporting, and enterprise business intelligence solutions.
  • Experience within a Credit Union, banking, financial services, mortgage, or lending environment strongly preferred.
