About the role
- Work onboard vessels, managing all aspects of ship safety;
- Monitor schedules, safety documentation, and manage PPE and uniforms;
- Conduct regular vessel visits and liaise with the crew;
- Carry out inspections on vessels to identify hazardous conditions;
- Oversee the implementation of Risk Management Programs (PGR);
- Prepare workplace safety training programs;
- Analyze occurrences of workplace accidents;
- Manage records related to certificates for PPE use;
- Review and analyze internal procedures related to occupational safety;
- Provide support for SIPAT (Internal Week for Accident Prevention), organizing necessary activities and resources.
Requirements
- Certification as a Safety Technician with active professional registration;
- Availability to travel (regular travel for vessel visits);
- Experience in the shipping/navigation or offshore sector is a plus.
