About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide temporary coverage and maintain business continuity for Q3 and year-end reporting
Analyse the treasury monthly P&L, including interest-charge drivers and foreign-exchange gains and losses
Prepare the Group Interest Budget and forecasts, and report on variance analysis
Own treasury-related external reporting, periodic disclosures, and year-end processes, including SEC reporting, 6-K and 20-F reporting, Workiva, and SEC search tools
Report financial impacts of Treasury activities at Nomad Group and individual-entity level, including forecast-versus-actual variance analysis
Drive financial benefit through clear treasury and derivative accounting processes and policies, including cash-flow hedge reserve and hedge accounting
Act as primary treasury contact and lead for the PwC relationship
Own and implement changes to treasury activities resulting from regulatory change
Provide leadership and clarity to the Nomad Group on treasury accounting activities
Ensure compliance with Group Treasury and accounting policies
Share responsibility for Treasury SOX RACM with treasury managers
Provide accounting support and advice for refinancing of external debt
Prepare periodic derivative valuations and hedge-effectiveness calculations using Bloomberg, Reval, or other tools
Identify, assess, and support management of Nomad Group FX exposures with the Treasury Manager
Own Group hedge-accounting policy and related hedge-effectiveness documentation for debt, FX, and other activities
Support debt transfer-pricing policy and ad hoc modelling, including WACC
Own process changes and drive improvements within Treasury and across the wider business
Own the off-market CCIRS model and liaise with external audit advisers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience and knowledge of financial accounting and reporting for Treasury activities, including debt, CCIRS, IRS, cash and FX exposures
Knowledge of SEC regulatory impacts, 6-K and 20-F reporting
Proficiency with Workiva and SEC search tools
Experience with derivative valuations and hedge effectiveness calculations using Bloomberg, Reval, or other tools
Understanding of FX exposure accounting and hedge accounting, including cash flow hedge reserve
Knowledge of Group Treasury and accounting policies and SOX RACM
Ability to provide accounting support for refinancing transactions and external debt
Experience with transfer pricing policy and WACC modelling
Experience with off-market CCIRS modelling
Ability to liaise with external audit advisers and PwC
Knowledge of regulatory change and process improvement
Treasury accounting and reporting expertise
