About the role

  • Design, develop, and operate the shared core data platform infrastructure ensuring high availability and high performance at scale
  • Productionize cutting-edge AI/ML research results into data pipelines and build internal systems to enable research experimentation
  • Design, develop, and operate performant, highly-available data serving systems to accelerate product development
  • Implement elegant, robust, and highly scalable solutions to address complex data processing requirements and performance/efficiency bottlenecks
  • Design and develop full observability and monitoring for the data processing platform and ensure dataset reproducibility and traceability
  • Proactively scale infrastructure to meet demands of rapidly expanding client-facing products and user base

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer
  • 3+ years working with Python
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and architectures; hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure
  • Proven experience in microservices and backend applications, ideally deployed on Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with API/library development and designing durable interfaces
  • Practical exposure to stateful data processing workflows and tools like Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or Flyte
  • Interest in fintech/legaltech
  • Quick learner and ability to explore new technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
