About the role
- As a Sales Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for the entire sales process for our opti.node Cockpit and will take on the following tasks:
- Conduct qualified initial calls with operators and operations managers to analyze requirements
- Present our software in compelling live demos to decision-makers and technical users
- Systematically advance sales opportunities, prepare proposals and lead contract negotiations through to successful deal closing
- Actively build new customer relationships by processing qualified inbound leads from webinars, events and marketing campaigns and identifying additional opportunities through targeted outbound outreach
- Represent us at trade shows and events, deliver presentations and build valuable contacts
- Provide structured customer and market feedback to other teams such as Marketing, Product and Customer Success
- Work with our sales team to continuously improve sales processes
- Maintain and keep your pipeline up to date in our CRM system (HubSpot)
Requirements
- Familiarity with the specific challenges of our customer group (e.g., § 6 EEG, electricity tax and direct marketing)
- Ability to explain complex energy-sector topics clearly and persuasively
- Experienced with CRM systems (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, etc.) and common digital tools (Teams, Confluence, Miro, etc.)
- Organized, communicative, strong presentation skills and proven ability to build long-term customer relationships
- Strong closing orientation and enthusiasm for bringing deals to successful completion
- Confident and professional when interacting with various stakeholders such as decision-makers and technical users
- Fluent German (our company language) and good English skills
