About the role
- Collaborating on Creative Briefs
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and work with cross-functional teams to understand objectives, audiences, and messaging.
- Concept Development & Sketching
- Translate briefs into compelling visual concepts using sketches, mood boards, and style guides.
- Visual Design Execution
- Create high-fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, and final digital assets using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and optimised for performance.
- Presenting & Refining Designs
- Present conceptual and finished work to internal teams and clients.
- Clearly articulate design rationale and refine work based on feedback.
- Staying Ahead of Trends
- Research emerging design trends, explore new technologies, and continuously develop your skillset.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Communicate regularly with your team, provide progress updates, and collaborate seamlessly across disciplines.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of design principles including typography, colour theory, composition, and UI design.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, After Effects) and Figma.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a strong advantage.
- Deep knowledge of web and mobile best practices, responsive design, and accessibility guidelines.
- A user-centred mindset with a focus on usability and intuitive design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to creative challenges.
- A portfolio showcasing a wide range of digital work—web, app, social, and interactive—with thoughtful case studies highlighting your process and impact.
