About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary legal contact for all career-related legal matters concerning employees of the Belgian Railways (NMBS/SNCB).
- Provide well-founded legal analyses and opinions.
- Contribute to drafting and harmonizing internal regulations.
- Monitor and anticipate legislative and case-law developments.
- Act as the legal liaison with external counsel.
- Collaborate closely with other Legal & Knowledge teams.
- Participate in optimization projects within your area of expertise.
- Contribute to the creation and sharing of knowledge.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in HR, Law, Labour Sciences, or Economics with a social orientation.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in social/labour relations.
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
- Good command of Dutch (B2 level).
