About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for training delivery and contributing to the development of learning solutions
  • Collaborate with other Service Training & Development areas for program design and implementation
  • Responsible for training delivery on new hire training material at Horizon sites and remote vendor locations
  • Assist with the modification of training resources/schedules in response to staffing issues and/or business needs
  • Escalate issues reported to training or identified through analysis and assist with problem resolution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1 year of experience in a call center environment or as a Trainer if Bachelor's is considered
  • In lieu of a degree, an additional 3 years of experience can be substituted
  • Certificate programs from TD (ASTD) a plus
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory
  • Knowledge of training programs
  • Knowledge of facilitating learning
  • Knowledge of insurance/healthcare industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Access, Visio & SharePoint
