About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyzing budget variances and challenging or advising budget holders
Identifying opportunities to optimize costs and implementing these improvements
Actively contributing to the monthly closing process, with a focus on production costs and SG&A
Reporting monthly group results and various KPIs
Ensuring all processes comply with J-SOX and other internal control frameworks
Translating complex financial data into clear and actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher education degree in a financial field
Preferably, you have initial experience as a controller or within audit
Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with SAP and Power BI is a strong asset
Critical and proactive mindset; not afraid to challenge the status quo
Strong communication skills and the ability to persuade
Fluent in Dutch and English
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to separate key issues from less relevant details
A team player who contributes to an open, constructive, and positive team atmosphere
