About the role
- Be responsible for the delivery of projects; hands-on coding and code reviews with squad members
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering Lead to guide clients in their product development journey and ensure efficient delivery following best practices
- Lead technical architecture and design discussions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices and right tool/framework adoption
- Participate in recruitment and technical assessment of candidates
- Collaborate with Head of Engineering to lead technology comparison and engineering process improvements
- Coordinate activities between all engineering areas
Requirements
- 7+ years or more of professional web development experience
- Experience in Ruby, JavaScript (Node.JS), Go, PHP or Python is preferred
- Prior experience as a Tech Lead for squads of 5 or more is required
- At least 1 year of DevOps experience with tools such as: Terraform, Redis, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on software development experience
- Enjoy working on challenging solutions and systems
- Focus on reusability, maintainability, security, and performance
- A "Can do attitude" and a product mindset
- Confidence in communicating in English
