About the role
- Monitor and oversee your team’s projects, ensuring progress and sensible development plans
- Ensure backlogs are properly managed, write user stories, groom backlogs, and plan development sprints
- Discover new projects, understand pain points and users’ expectations, and define UX-driven approaches
- Ensure the quality of products and features and review UX/UI designs
- Support Engineering with implementation and anticipate technical challenges
- Interact with external stakeholders, gather feedback, and defend product decisions
- Review team work for internal Nimble assets and client deliverables
- Support the sales team in assessing potential product development projects, risks, and challenges
- Mentor team members, set growth objectives, and help Product Managers develop
- Report and provide insights to the Chief Product Officer and help define Product team direction
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, and lead new product initiatives
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Product Manager
- 2+ years of experience managing other Product Managers
- Some software programming experience
- Based in Bangkok or willing to relocate to Bangkok
- Knowledge of UX patterns for mobile and web applications and iOS/Android design language
- Ability to adapt design complexity to project scope and anticipate technical challenges
- Familiarity with product usage and behavioral data, including defining tracking
- Ability to prioritize feature development and kick off greenfield and take over brownfield projects
- Ability to conceptualize products and assess implementation complexity and risks
- Experience leading and mentoring Product Managers and setting team direction
- English at Business Fluency level
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using version control systems (git) and Gitflow
- Familiarity with CI/CD for web and mobile and app store publishing
- Understanding of APIs and experience with API management/documentation/debugging tools (Postman, Swagger, Proxyman)
- Ability to architect data and create database schemas
- Familiarity with web vs iOS vs Android differences and cross-platform apps (e.g., Flutter)
- Excellent time management and work organization skills
- Experience supporting sales in assessing product development projects
- Experience participating in recruitment and hiring processes
- Bonus: personal or side web/mobile development projects (git repos welcome)
