About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create 3D models to optimize equipment layouts and maximize space efficiency
- Issue 2D and 3D General Assembly drawings for clients and suppliers
- Manage relationships with external mechanical consultants and equipment vendors
- Find ways to integrate electrical components into panels and fit equipment into containers
- Draft manufacturing drawings for structural carpentry when needed
- Analyze thermal management of electric components, implementing ventilation, air conditioning, and liquid cooling systems
- Study outdoor solutions for protection degrees, painting cycles, and corrosion resistance solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred) or high school diploma
- Experience in power systems/electric cabinets and assemblies design is required
- Basic knowledge of material properties and thermal management technologies
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, mechanical CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD)
- Basic knowledge of thermal and CFD simulation (Flotherm or equivalent) are an additional advantage
