About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create 3D models to optimize equipment layouts and maximize space efficiency
Issue 2D and 3D General Assembly drawings for clients and suppliers
Manage relationships with external mechanical consultants and equipment vendors
Find ways to integrate electrical components into panels and fit equipment into containers
Draft manufacturing drawings for structural carpentry when needed
Analyze thermal management of electric components, implementing ventilation, air conditioning, and liquid cooling systems
Study outdoor solutions for protection degrees, painting cycles, and corrosion resistance solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred) or high school diploma
Experience in power systems/electric cabinets and assemblies design is required
Basic knowledge of material properties and thermal management technologies
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, mechanical CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD)
Basic knowledge of thermal and CFD simulation (Flotherm or equivalent) are an additional advantage
