About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the design and development of power assemblies and electronic boards for power electronic converters
  • Designing and testing power assemblies and electronic boards starting from the product specification requirements
  • Modeling power converters through numerical simulations (PSIM, Matlab/Simulink, co-simulation, PLECS)
  • Defining and executing validation tests and conducting experiments for production release of power converters
  • Drafting related design, construction, and testing documentation
  • Participating in system test and commissioning of new products
  • Ensuring product and project compliance with applicable International Regulations and Standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering
  • A good understanding of power electronics and electrical machines
  • Knowledge of power semiconductors, cooling technologies, and electronic circuit boards
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and electrical circuit simulation (PSIM, PSpice, or equivalent)
  • Basic knowledge of thermal simulation (Flotherm or equivalent) and 3D mechanical CAD (Inventor or equivalent) is an additional advantage
  • A willingness to travel briefly, both nationally and internationally
  • Good written and spoken English
