About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Interacts with clients on a day-to-day basis while developing and maintaining relationships
- Prepares applications, specifications and marketing strategy for new business and renewals of assigned clients
- May require supporting a Team Lead and will have the expectation of growth
- May have revenue goals and/or client retention targets
- Negotiates terms, conditions, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers
- Works with the Claims Department on relevant claims for assigned clients
- Responsible for accurate information to avoid any E&O claims
- Maintains a follow-up system to ensure policies, endorsements, and other information is received
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with carriers and clients through regular contact and visits
- Keeps clients apprised of appropriate industry trends and events
Requirements
What you’ll need- P&C license required upon hire
- Personal Lines with High Net Worth Account/Client Management experience
- Familiarity with major markets like AIG, Chubb/ACE, PURE and Cincinnati Financial
- Comprehensive experience with metropolitan New York area markets, highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly professional and self-motivated
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel required
- At least 5 years of Personal Lines industry and product line experience
- Experience with an agency management system/CRM required
- Fluency with Epic is a plus
