About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Interacts with clients on a day-to-day basis while developing and maintaining relationships
Prepares applications, specifications and marketing strategy for new business and renewals of assigned clients
May require supporting a Team Lead and will have the expectation of growth
May have revenue goals and/or client retention targets
Negotiates terms, conditions, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers
Works with the Claims Department on relevant claims for assigned clients
Responsible for accurate information to avoid any E&O claims
Maintains a follow-up system to ensure policies, endorsements, and other information is received
Builds and maintains strong relationships with carriers and clients through regular contact and visits
Keeps clients apprised of appropriate industry trends and events

Requirements

What you’ll need

P&C license required upon hire
Personal Lines with High Net Worth Account/Client Management experience
Familiarity with major markets like AIG, Chubb/ACE, PURE and Cincinnati Financial
Comprehensive experience with metropolitan New York area markets, highly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly professional and self-motivated
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel required
At least 5 years of Personal Lines industry and product line experience
Experience with an agency management system/CRM required
Fluency with Epic is a plus
