About the role
- Responsible for broking new and renewal business, handling all aspects of the placements from initial market selection through policy delivery to client.
- Focus on the largest and most complex placements while mentoring and developing staff.
- Proactively coordinate and manage broking around the renewal cycle.
- Define success and direct broking activity, individually and amongst the team, to achieve the optimal outcome for the client/prospect.
- Demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills and manage difficult scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- Minimum seven years insurance experience
- Team leadership experience a plus
- P&C License required or obtained within 90 days of employment
- Advanced industry designation(s) (e.g. CPCU, CIC, ARM) preferred
