About the role
- Detailed design of end-to-end, industry-specific customer processes
- Advising our clients on the design and implementation of innovative IT solutions, coordinating requirements and all necessary activities
- Identifying suitable options and recommendations within the SAP solutions portfolio and developing a solution architecture for the client
- Implementing solutions and ensuring cross-component integration
- Identifying and developing options to close gaps in the SAP standard portfolio
- Analyzing and purposefully further developing processes for energy utilities
- Taking on management responsibilities for subprojects and functional streams
- Acting as a mentor and coach for our consultants
- Developing requirement concepts and managing and coordinating their implementation
- Conducting client workshops and training sessions
- Collaborating with the team on projects such as digitalization, standardization, optimization of complex processes, and the implementation of new SAP-centric platforms
Requirements
- University degree in (business) informatics, business administration, or a comparable field
- Extensive knowledge of the energy industry
- Several years of relevant consulting experience in SAP for the energy sector
- Programming skills in an object-oriented language (e.g., ABAP OO or Java)
- Specialization in specific SAP solution areas for the energy sector, particularly market communication, energy data management, billing, or customer management processes
- Software development experience with a focus on bespoke customer requirements
- Experience in cloud-based SAP projects
- Experience with utility processes and/or several years' experience implementing and further developing SAP systems for the energy industry
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in (IT) project management, both waterfall and agile
- Native-level German language skills
- Experience in (SAP) data migration projects is desirable
