About the role

  • Independent review of products and processes within the Finance unit
  • Analysis of existing and new products with respect to profitability and market risk
  • Close collaboration with colleagues in Controlling and Trading
  • Preparation of ad-hoc analyses and regular reports for management

Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics, engineering, or a natural science
  • Several years of experience in the energy industry, market risk, or risk management
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Solid knowledge of market risks and experience with VaR calculations and stress testing
  • Proficient with MS Office and programming skills in Python or similar languages
  • Analytical thinking and experience with statistical methods and metrics
  • Strong sense of responsibility with an independent and team-oriented working style
