About the role

  • You lead an interdisciplinary team of approximately 11 people, promote their continuous professional and personal development, and motivate them through strong communication.
  • You are responsible for the technical advancement and operation of central ancillary services systems.
  • You actively shape software architecture and automation.
  • You work closely with colleagues from Operations, Trading and Regulatory.
  • You establish efficient processes for monitoring, data quality and compliance.
  • You foster a culture of innovation, ownership and continuous learning within the team.

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Energy Management or possess equivalent knowledge in these areas.
  • You have several years of experience leading technical development teams.
  • You have solid knowledge of modern software development (Python, Java, CI/CD, Cloud, Kubernetes).
  • You drive the generation of innovative ideas and support your team in implementation.
  • You communicate clearly, listen actively and approach challenges analytically and in a structured way.
  • An understanding of energy-sector processes is an advantage.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
