About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer objectives, requirements, and infrastructure challenges
Design end-to-end solutions across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and bare-metal environments
Partner with Sales throughout pre-sales, including onboarding, scoping, RFP/RFI responses, and technical estimation
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and solution overviews
Develop architecture documentation, technical diagrams, cost estimates, and TCO models
Provide customer feedback and recommend product enhancements to Product Management
Coordinate with vendors, supply chain teams, and internal stakeholders on hardware availability and deployment timelines
Stay current on infrastructure technologies, hosting platforms, cloud services, and industry trends
Build trusted customer relationships as the primary technical advisor
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to ensure solutions are technically sound and operationally feasible
Manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously while maintaining customer engagement
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and bare-metal environments
Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Strong knowledge of networking, system architecture, and infrastructure technologies
Knowledge of VLANs, RAID, CPU architecture, IP networking, IP routing, and BGP
Familiarity with NVIDIA reference architectures and GPU infrastructure design, including GPU cluster networking and InfiniBand/NVLink
Ability to design scalable, highly available, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions
Experience creating technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution designs
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Strong customer-facing presentation skills
Collaboration and relationship-building skills across Sales, Engineering, Product, and customer teams
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities and competing priorities
Willingness to travel for customer meetings and onsite engagements as needed
Fluent in spoken and written English
Experience designing AI/ML infrastructure using NVIDIA reference architectures, including DGX, HGX, and GPU cluster networking
Previous Solutions Architect or similar customer-facing technical consulting experience
Experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or related infrastructure engineer
Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
Experience with enterprise bare-metal server hardware and hosting infrastructure
Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA
Experience with scripting or automation languages
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another STEM-related field is preferred
