About the role

  • Maintain the Newzoo Games Taxonomy, including categorizing and tagging upcoming PC and console games.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy at all stages, verifying that game information is correct and up to date.
  • Learn the taxonomy system and apply it consistently; provide input for minor improvements when appropriate.
  • Stay generally informed about new game releases and updates.
  • Use internal operations tools, such as Amplitude, Product Board, and Hotjar, to support daily tasks.
  • Assist the Product team with routine tasks, including competitor research, product feature analysis, and other operational work as needed.

Requirements

  • Deeply interested in games - you understand different genres and platforms, and enjoy keeping up with industry news.
  • Comfortable with repetitive and structured work.
  • Highly detail-oriented, methodical, and accurate.
  • Able to work independently and maintain focus for long periods.
  • Familiar with spreadsheets or similar data tools.
  • No prior work experience is required - we value attention to detail, passion for games, and consistency over previous roles.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country where you currently reside (we do not provide visa sponsorship).
