About the role
- You will focus on building your team and be responsible for the growth of our newest location in Ulm‑Söflingen.
- You will develop your team members individually within NewTec’s culture of unlocking potential.
- You will actively contribute to projects in your area of expertise and share your knowledge with your colleagues.
- You will participate in sales activities and maintain customer relationships to increase our visibility, e.g. new customer acquisition, competitive analysis, attendance at conferences and networking events.
- Through targeted business development activities, you will identify and develop strategic business opportunities to expand our client portfolio.
Requirements
- You have a completed degree in a technical or scientific field or an equivalent qualification.
- You bring several years of professional experience in software or system development (C / Python / software architecture) and can apply your expertise effectively.
- Ideally, you have initial experience in a leadership role and are motivated to invest your energy in team leadership and in building and developing a software team.
- You are familiar with the fundamentals of project and subproject management and, thanks to your communicative working style, collaborate effectively with various NewTec stakeholders.
- You have excellent market knowledge of embedded systems and relevant industries and safety standards from the automotive or industrial sectors.
- You are flexible and willing to travel for client visits and business trips within Germany, Austria and Switzerland (predominantly single‑day client visits and the occasional multi‑day business trip during the year).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
