About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide leadership across clinical governance, quality improvement and professional governance
- Ensure services deliver safe, effective and high-quality care
- Support continuous improvement and maintain the highest clinical standards
- Work closely with Operational Directors, Clinical Partners and service teams
- Use clinical insight, data and evidence-based practice to identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide professional leadership for Nursing and ODP practice
- Support workforce development, professional standards, supervision, CPD and revalidation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- NMC registered Nurse
- Strong background in clinical governance, quality improvement and professional practice
- Experience using data, audit and clinical insight to improve patient outcomes
- Experience within ophthalmology or a surgical specialty (advantageous)
- Credible and authentic clinical leader
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in leading change and balancing competing priorities.
