About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design security systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and security communications systems
Consult with clients on security strategies for perimeter security protection, monitoring and system selections
Coordinate with door hardware consultants for electronic security integration
Coordinate design efforts working closely with in-house or external disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners
Plan and perform the entire project production process
Perform contract administration duties of site visits, submittal review, RFI response and coordination and contractor assistance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
PSP or CPP preferred
Five to Ten (5 to 10) years’ industry experience
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the design of security systems is required
Demonstrated proficiency in Bluebeam required
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Revit is required
Experience with network design to support security systems is a plus
Experience with risk and vulnerability assessments is a plus
