About the role
- Serve as the primary partner for assigned brands to align business objectives with Walmart merchants, hold routine strategy reviews, and strengthen partnerships through proactive problem-solving.
- Build and manage annual forecasts, trade budgets, and profitability metrics, Leading item setup, launches, modular resets, and promotions from pitch to shelf while coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Identify growth opportunities and guide new brands through Walmart entry and grow NNG’s client portfolio via networking and industry events.
- Leverage Retail Link, Luminate/Scintilla, and Circana data to track performance, spot trends, and uncover price gaps and package insights into clear, actionable updates for clients, merchants, and leadership.
Requirements
- Experience working directly for Walmart or Sam’s Club preferred
- Experience working on the vendor side calling on Walmart or Sam’s Club or other top national retailer preferred
- Ability to effectively learn and leverage retailer data analytics systems such as Scintilla, MADRID, Retail Link, and syndicated data (Circana, and Nielsen)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Executive presence demonstrated by the following
- Experienced in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to use tools effectively
