About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for timely and accurate financial reporting
- Support monthly close activities and maintain and reconcile financial accounts
- Contribute to budgets and forecasts
- Analyze financial data, identify trends or discrepancies, and provide insights to senior management
- Support annual audit and tax-related activities
- Review accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls and recommend improvements
- Partner with internal stakeholders and support special accounting and financial projects as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with at least two years of public accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with three years of progressive private/corporate accounting roles
- Undergraduate degree and at least 5 years in progressive private/corporate accounting roles
- Working knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities, work independently, and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and accounting systems
