About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The therapist in this position will be responsible for conducting remote mental health therapy children and adults.
All direct therapy will be delivered via a virtual platform; therefore the candidate must be comfortable and knowledgeable of teleconferencing applications such as Zoom/Google Meet/WebEx.
Documentation of client goals, treatment progress, and assessments is expected for reporting and measurement of progress at the conclusion of each therapy session.
The candidate will be provided with a TalkNYC! email address consistently for appointments and communications from staff and clients.

Requirements

What you’ll need

LMHC or MHC-LP (or working towards MHC-LP)
Complete progress notes and updated calendar within 24 hours of time of service.
Provide initial intake, diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans and progress notes.
Maintain client’s charts and keep complete and correct documentation
Case management including care coordination, collaborating with referral sources and connecting clients to care.
Participate weekly in mandatory supervision.
