About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process prescriptions for outpatient dispensing and mail out shipping
Greet both internal and external customers on the phone and face-to-face
Monitor inventory and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy
Travel occasionally for site reviews, training, and education
Complete all training and education required to maintain state license and PTCB certification

Requirements

What you’ll need

Nevada State Pharmaceutical Technician License required
PTCB preferred
Customer service experience preferred
Knowledge of pharmacy workflow, pharmacy software and EHR
Knowledge of sig codes, brand and generic names and therapeutic class for common drugs
Knowledge of pharmacy policy and procedure
Knowledge of pharmacy law and 340B regulations
Knowledge of billing procedures for third party payers
Skill in operating cash register and various types of office equipment, such as calculator, printer/copier/fax, postage machine, and telephone system
Skill in operating PC utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email
Ability to type min of 30 words per minute
