About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development of semester and annual class schedules for all Liberal Arts programs
- Assign and manage faculty instructional loads, overloads, and adjunct faculty assignments
- Collaborate with Academic Planning and the VPASA to align schedules with enrollment targets
- Recruit and hire qualified adjuncts
- Maintain and manage the Letter of Appointment budget
- Analyze enrollment trends to inform scheduling decisions
- Supervise, observe, evaluate, and support faculty and staff
- Oversee academic programs, curriculum review, and assessment
- Develop and manage divisional budgets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree and a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the Master's degree
- Experience teaching in a higher education system
- Experience observing and evaluating instruction
- Experience with local, regional or statewide academic initiatives
- Second language proficiency (written and oral), Spanish preferred
