About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and implement server-side features, modules, and components in Python
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into well-structured, maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews
- Use AI coding assistants responsibly to accelerate development
- Write and maintain Dockerfiles
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python
- Proficiency in Flask, FastAPI, or Django
- Working experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude, or comparable LLM-based coding assistants
- Understanding of tokens, context, prompting, limitations, and responsible use
- Hands-on Docker experience
- Proficient with Git
- Ability to write meaningful unit tests; familiarity with pytest or similar
- Working knowledge of SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, or equivalent
