About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are responsible for the planning and design of medium- and low-voltage networks (distribution and connection networks)
Network calculation and simulation (load flow, short-circuit, voltage drop) are your responsibilities
You handle the integration and assessment of renewable energy installations (e.g., PV, wind, storage), including systems under the German Renewable Energy Act (EEG)
You are responsible for the planning and dimensioning of substations and transformer stations
You support our customers in preparing grid connection requests
You prepare planning documents, concepts and technical documentation
You coordinate with grid operators, customers and project stakeholders
You are motivated to contribute to innovative solutions in the field of power grids (e.g., Smart Grids, network optimization)

Requirements

What you’ll need

You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a comparable qualification
You have experience in planning power supply networks (MV/LV, ideally also HV) and knowledge of network calculation
Additionally, you have an understanding of regulatory frameworks (EEG, TAB, VDE guidelines)
You demonstrate a structured, independent working style and possess strong technical comprehension
Teamwork and strong communication skills are as important to you as they are to us
You have business-fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
