About the role

  • Planning and design of medium- and low-voltage networks
  • Network calculation and simulation (load flow, short-circuit, voltage drop)
  • Integration and assessment of renewable energy installations (e.g., PV, wind, storage)
  • Planning and sizing of substations and transformer stations
  • Support in preparing grid connection applications
  • Preparation of planning documents, concepts and technical documentation
  • Coordination with grid operators, clients and project stakeholders
  • Contribution to innovative solutions in the field of power networks (e.g., Smart Grids, network optimization)

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in planning power distribution networks (MV/LV)
  • Knowledge of network calculation and analysis
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (EEG - Renewable Energy Sources Act, TAB, VDE guidelines)
  • Structured, independent working style and strong technical understanding
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Business-fluent German (written and spoken)
  • Preferably experience in substation planning
