About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work on medium- and high-complexity information security tasks
  • Perform implementations, fixes, integrations, deep analyses and continuous improvements on managed security solutions
  • Technically investigate incidents and mitigate risks
  • Maintain the environment and support Level 1 on escalated cases
  • Interact with vendors to resolve advanced issues
  • Work with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto), management platforms (FortiManager, Panorama) and similar solutions
  • Remotely access client environments for maintenance and support
  • Configure security policies, NAT, QoS, network objects, groups, security profiles and access rules
  • Manage static and dynamic routing, SD-WAN, link load balancing and Site-to-Site and Client-to-Site VPNs
  • Manage digital certificates, IPS, Web Filter, Application Control, SSL Inspection, AntiVirus and Security Profiles
  • Administer FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Panorama platforms and similar tools
  • Update systems, manage licenses and validate supported versions
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on VPN, routing, SD-WAN, policies, authentication and integrations
  • Analyze and handle security events, threats, alerts and incidents
  • Conduct Health Checks and apply vendor security recommendations
  • Integrate firewalls with authentication, SIEM, EDR, MFA, ZTNA and other components
  • Manage EDR platforms and their policies, rules, exceptions, groups and profiles
  • Maintain EDR integrations with Active Directory, Azure AD, SIEM, Service Gateway, Product Connector and other tools
  • Manage agent inventory and endpoint compliance
  • Investigate alerts for malware, ransomware, vulnerabilities, suspicious behavior and lateral movement
  • Perform risk analyses, handle false positives and optimize policies
  • Configure notifications, alerts, dashboards and reports
  • Analyze failures in logs, databases and external integrations
  • Perform initial containment by isolating devices, blocking processes and quarantining files
  • Conduct technical investigation and response for endpoint incidents

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Networks, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security, Systems Analysis and Development or related fields — desirable but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, the OSI model and protocols
  • Advanced knowledge of firewalls and/or EDR/XDR solutions from recognized vendors
  • Knowledge of content filtering, IPS/IDS, antivirus, DDoS protection and packet inspection
  • Solid foundation in Information Security principles
  • Knowledge of firewall managers such as Panorama and FortiManager
  • Knowledge of Zabbix, FireMon, NDR, Email Security and frameworks such as ISO 27000, LGPD, NIST CSF and/or CIS Controls — desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years proven hands-on experience in MSS (Managed Security Services) and/or perimeter solution support
  • Advanced English — desirable
