About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement network strategies aligned with business objectives
Design and oversee implementation of complex network architectures
Evaluate and recommend improvements to network infrastructure
Lead, mentor, and develop network engineers and specialists
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
Identify skill gaps and implement training programs
Serve as primary point of contact for high-profile client projects
Build relationships with new clients during projects
Collaborate with account managers on post-deployment handoff
Address escalations and resolve complex project issues
Oversee planning and execution of client projects
Develop timelines, resource allocation plans, and risk mitigation strategies
Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets
Coordinate resources and expertise with other departments
Monitor network performance and implement optimization strategies
Troubleshoot complex network issues
Establish and track KPIs for network operations and the infrastructure team
Implement data-driven processes to improve team efficiency
Ensure timely project delivery and adherence to SLAs
Drive continuous improvement in team performance and client satisfaction
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management
At least 3 years of experience in a management role
Strong technical knowledge of on-premises infrastructure, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and operating systems
Proven experience managing cloud migration projects
Excellent understanding of IT service management principles and best practices
Strong project management skills and experience with methodologies such as ITIL and Agile
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills
Relevant certifications
