About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to and evolve our cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, IAM and security controls
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across a mixed TypeScript and Python codebase
- Operate and improve our primary data stores — relational and graph databases
- Design and implement data pipelines that move, transform and validate data across the platform
- Implement observability — structured logging, distributed tracing and alerting
- Contribute to security and compliance posture across services
- Build internal developer tooling that makes iteration fast and safe
- Support deployment and scaling of research workloads including GPU-based training runs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid hands-on experience with a major cloud provider — GCP preferred
- Strong infrastructure-as-code practice — Terraform or Pulumi
- Experience operating Postgres in production
- Proficiency in CI/CD design and multi-environment deployments
- Comfort working across TypeScript and Python codebases
- Security-first mindset
- Nice to have: Experience with graph databases
- Familiarity with data pipeline tooling
- Experience running GPU workloads on cloud infrastructure
- Exposure to geospatial or domain-specific data formats
