About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment at customer sites
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and automation/control system faults and malfunctions
Perform repairs, replace parts and restore equipment to service
Install, commission and qualify new equipment
Execute functional tests and ensure installation performance
Support and train users on operation and first-line maintenance
Write intervention reports and ensure traceability of actions
Identify technical improvements and make recommendations
Track spare parts and report replenishment needs
Ensure compliance with safety, quality and customer procedures
Participate in on-call duties or emergency interventions
Provide regular reporting to the Technical Manager or Maintenance Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Secondary school diploma to two-year technical qualification (Bac to Bac +2) in Industrial Maintenance, Electrotechnical, Mechanical, Electromechanics or equivalent
Proven initial experience in industrial maintenance or as a field service/after-sales technician
Strong skills in mechanics, industrial electrical systems and pneumatics; automation knowledge is a plus
Ability to quickly diagnose faults and work autonomously
Familiarity with industrial environments, notably pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, chemical or manufacturing sectors appreciated
Good command of IT tools and experience writing technical reports
Strong customer focus and excellent service orientation
Autonomy, rigor and organizational skills
Ability to manage priorities and operate across multiple sites
Valid driving license (Category B) required
High mobility, frequent travel across the Grand Ouest (western France) and regular overnight stays
