About the role
- Long-format YouTube editing (5–25 min)
- Automated/assisted creation of optimized clips (Shorts/Reels)
- Motion design (titles, transitions, animations)
- Adding B-roll, animations, dynamic subtitles, sound design & color grading
- Creating high-performing thumbnails in the US YouTube style
- Optimizing pacing and visual storytelling
- Managing a clear workflow: footage intake → delivery
- Ability to identify the best moments without instructions
- Maintaining Alphorm’s video visual identity / personal branding
Requirements
- 3+ years of editing experience
- Experience editing CEO, business, tech, or educational videos
- Able to deliver quickly
- Proactive and a strong contributor of ideas
- Understands the conventions of YouTube/Reels/TikTok
- Proficiency with Canva is a plus
