About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act on behalf of NWADV as part of the team enforcing court-awarded attorneys' fees, handling cases from all states;
Process court publications/notifications, schedule deadlines in the case management system, review case files, prepare reports and meet deadlines;
Update calculations and subsequently contact opposing counsel with the aim of resolving litigation through settlement;
Draft defenses, appeals and various pleadings;
Handle debt recovery actions: enforcement (execution), monitória (monitory/payment-order proceedings) and collection actions;
Advance the case to secure payment (request SISBAJUD, RENAJUD, INFOJUD, SNIPER, etc.);
Conduct enforcement of judgments, and prepare and contest calculations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active OAB/SP registration for at least 1.5 years;
Experience in high-volume/mass-claims law firms;
Proficiency with debt recovery actions;
Proficiency in the enforcement phase, preparation and contesting of calculations, securing guarantees and filing objections;
Full Microsoft Office proficiency, with intermediate Excel skills;
Ability to draft defenses, appeals and various pleadings;
Strong command of enforcement phase procedures, including preparation and contesting of calculations.
