About the role
- The Communications & Marketing Specialist supports the organization by raising awareness of NHC services
- Responsible for the strategic development and implementation of communications strategy
- Coordinate development of internal story bank
- Ensure accuracy and functionality of NHC website
- Produce written communications for donor engagement
- Oversee creation of marketing and communications deliverables
- Manage corporate sponsorship benefits and fulfillment plan
- Support events to increase visibility of NHC
- Help manage photography and videography needs
- Implement social media strategies to engage audiences
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or business
- Non-profit and healthcare experience is a plus
- Strong written, verbal communications, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in marketing, communications, email & mail campaigns, social media and graphic design
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Canva, WordPress, MailChimp or comparable CRM platforms
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills for managing events and activities
- Ability to work 40 hours weekly, during the hours of 8am and 5pm with occasional hours as needed
