About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a team of engineers, drafters, designers, and/or technicians servicing industrial clients
Perform detailed design of electrical power systems
Prepare computer-based models and perform power system studies
Develop protective relay settings
Program, install, and test SCADA and PLC systems
Prepare project documents and reports including cost estimates
Review equipment data and design submittals for conformance
Provide field assistance and troubleshooting as required
Maintain strong Company-Client relationships
Support business development and assist with marketing tasks
Mentor and coach team members for professional growth

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of engineering or relevant field experience
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution, electric power option preferred
PE preferred
Professional, articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgement and discretion
Highly organized, motivated self-starter
Proven record of delivering a high standard of quality work with attention to detail
Comfortable working with limited information to create system designs and plans
Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with a quickly growing team
Good interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills; ability to interact successfully at all levels of the organization; high emotional intelligence
Ability to develop staff through mentoring and coaching
A strong command of the English language
A strong written and verbal command of the English language
