About the role

  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries in BigQuery to extract, transform, and analyze data for reporting and analytics use cases
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards and reports, ensuring stakeholder-ready design, usability, and scalability
  • Support reporting and analytics needs across multiple teams (Finance, Product, and others), translating business questions into datasets, metrics, and actionable insights
  • Contribute to the analytics layer in dbt by creating or adjusting models for reporting use cases, following established patterns and best practices
  • Partner closely with the Data Engineering team, leveraging existing data pipelines and models (no major pipeline ownership initially)
  • Validate data accuracy and integrity through reconciliation, QA checks, documentation, and ongoing monitoring
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues, collaborating with the Data team to identify root causes and resolve inconsistencies
  • Participate in structured requirement gathering, prioritization, and iterative delivery with cross-functional stakeholders, supported by a Product Manager
  • Ensure proper handling of sensitive data by following security, access control, and compliance requirements
  • Build deeper business context around metrics, entity relationships, and reporting definitions to proactively improve analytics delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ Years of experience working as a Business Intelligence Analyst, BI Developer, Analytics Engineer, or similar data-focused role
  • 3+ Years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, complex logic, and performance tuning
  • 2+ Years of experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards and visualizations for business stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures
  • Proven ability to deliver reliable, high-quality reporting in collaboration with business and technical teams
  • Experience working with cloud data warehouses, preferably BigQuery
  • Working knowledge of DBT, including models, modular transformations, and analytics engineering workflows
  • Understanding of analytics data modeling concepts (facts/dimensions, star schemas) to support consistent KPI definitions
  • Ability to work closely with Data Engineers within established pipelines and architectures
  • Strong data quality practices, including validation, documentation, and QA processes
  • Comfort handling sensitive data and following security or compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver incrementally in a small, fast-moving team
  • Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
