About the role

  • Participate in the design, implementation and code review process of backend solutions.
  • Use infrastructure based on AWS, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Gradle, Git, etc.
  • Design modular, scalable and portable solutions
  • Write clean, readable and reusable code, on time and quality
  • Be able to deliver to deadlines, as required in the agile methodology
  • Be able to organize and prioritize work appropriately, as required

Requirements

  • 3 + years of experience working as a Java Software Engineer
  • Experience with Spring or Spring Boot framework
  • Practical experience working in cloud environment preferably with AWS and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Microservices architecture/developing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Kafka or alternatives is highly preferred
  • Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
