About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently lead annual and consolidated financial statement audits in accordance with HGB and IFRS
Responsible for planning, executing and finalizing complex audit engagements
Provide technical support to companies transitioning from HGB to IFRS
Support IFRS implementations, IFRS reporting processes and group accounting projects
Act as primary contact for CFOs, heads of accounting, managing directors and shareholders
Lead, coach and develop junior team members
Review work outputs and ensure the highest quality standards
Actively contribute to the further development of our Audit and Advisory services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in business, economics, finance or a related field
Several years of professional experience in external audit
Experience leading audit engagements
Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards
Experience auditing consolidated financial statements
Ideally, initial experience with IFRS conversion, consolidation or transformation projects
Enjoy direct client interaction and possess an entrepreneurial mindset
Enthusiasm for mentoring and developing junior colleagues
