About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end incident and problem management for complex incidents
  • Drive rapid service restoration and deep technical analysis
  • Conduct root cause resolution and continuous improvement
  • Lead high-performing technical teams and drive innovation and collaboration
  • Build strong stakeholder and vendor relationships
  • Ensure operational readiness, resilience, and security-by-design

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on expertise with Ericsson 5G Core including cloud-native deployments
  • Kubernetes orchestration
  • Network automation tools such as Ansible and scripting
  • Strong technical knowledge of Evolved Packet Core (EPC)
  • 5G NR
  • Virtualization/CNF architectures
  • IP networking fundamentals (IGP/EGP, SR/TE, routing and switching)
  • Experience working in large-scale telecommunications environments
  • Incident and problem management expertise
  • AI/ML-driven network operations and data-driven decision-making
  • Solid understanding of network security principles and frameworks including Essential Eight (ACSC) and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
